Hello All,

...I don't post that much, yes... but I was wondering if anyone new if Rick Jeanneret is coming back? There's nothing moving on the player trade front, so I figured maybe we should talk about singing one of the best free agents available, Rick. Has anyone heard anything new, or am I the only thinking about this? Without his passion, it makes watching the games much harder, especially with Harry Neale there. Who could replace Rick? Roby? Danny Gare? On a side-note what's the deal with Roby? Is he fully recovered from that car crash?

Oh well, maybe this will give people something to talk about.

WGR had Roby Radio back on towards the beginning of free agency so he must be recovered enough to do that. Id assume that Mike is going to be back this October.

Rick and Harry are signed beyond this season. He can retire at any point, but I think he sticks around to call the Sabres' Stanley Cup win. Might be a while, but he still holds out hope.

Both these guys are color commentators, they won't be replacing RJ. The front runners probably would be Steve Kouleas, Mark Jeanneret, and (unlikely) Kevin Sylvester.

Steve Kouleus and Mark Jeanerette are awful. I would have to start watching the games on mute

You do that. Meanwhile, when Mark Jeanneret calls the games for Buffalo, make sure you listen. Because unlike Mark Jeanerette, he's actually pretty good. :P
